Poem of the Moment

The River of Bees” by W. S. Merwin, archived over at Poetry Foundation. I remember hearing Merwin read this on an old Caedmon recording years and years and years ago; I think that was my first encounter with it. Which I suppose is appropriate, since Merwin has insisted that his poems be heard by the reader, hence his strategy (in all of his own poetry since the 1960s) of leaving his poems unpunctuated.
